Tutor for Final Cut Pro X App Reviews

Excellent Tutorial.. Highly recommend it.

I am a first time Final Cut user, coming to a MacBook Pro and Final cut from a PC! This is an excellent tutorial. It was really easy for me to understand with absolutely no knowledge of editing on a Mac. I found myself watching a few modules, then going to Final Cut ProX and trying out what I learned. If I couldnt remember something or got stuck, Id just go back to the Tutorial and it was so easy to scroll through the module titles to find what I need to see again. The voiceover is pleasant, easy going and the modules have great titles. Thanks! Excellent job, I highly recommend it.

Great Video Series

I bought this video package the same day as Final Cut Pro X, I watched all of the videos and then created my first 45 minutes movie with 2 days of the purchase, great software!!!

Just What The Doctor Ordered

For such a low price these tutorials covered a lot of ground. Having spent years editing on great systems like Newteks Video Toaster, this made the transition to FCP painless! Thanks for teaching an old dog some new tricks! H

Review of Tutor for Final Cut Pro X

Terrific intro…very clear and concise. You a lot of instruction for your money. Highly recommend it.

Great App

If you are just starting out using Final Cut Pro I highly recommmend this app. It gives a straight forward run through of the program thats easy to learn with and reference. It runs on the shorter side, you can easily watch all the videos in an afternoon, which to me is a positive. It allows you to learn the basics without getting bogged down hard to understand technical jargon. Buy this app if your new to the software, and want to a solid tutorial.

Excellent Introduction to Final Cut Pro

I am a complete newbie to video editing - this is my first experience with any kind of video editing software. I had someone show me how to load the videos into Final Cut Pro and give me a few pointers, and then I had to figure it out on my own. I bought this video, and it got me up and running. Im not doing anything too sophisticated, but this video taught me what I needed to know. I inserted and appended videos to the primary story line, and I connected a video to the primary story line, so I could include a different camera angle while retaining the audio from the primary storyline. I am not qualified to make any comment as to what percentage of the capabilites of Final Cut Pro are covered by this video tutor, but it was certainly a very helpful introduction for a newbie.

A Must Have with Final Cut Pro X

I watched each of the videos today and I was very impressed with the quality, thoroughness, and ease of explanation of how to use FCPX. I tried a few things in FCP before watching these videos and just couldnt get there. After viewing the clips, I now "get it." Highly recommended!

Most excellent tutorial

This tutorial is a pefect introduction to all of the functions of Final Cut Pro X. Im an iMovie 11 user who is stepping up to a professional level tool. So from my perspective, this has given me the confidence to approach my new software package without the stumbling that commonly comes along with diving in before you know the layout or toolset. HIGHLY recommended.

A Life Saver

OMG! I had a "Deal Breaker" project to do with the clock ticking. I was just not able to get it done in windows so I went to my newly purchased MAC, bought a copy of Final Cut X. Long story short, without this tutorial I would not have even been able to begin. I finished the project ahead of schedule and received rave reviews. Same as I am now raving about this tutorial. Thanks NoteBoom, you saved my life.

Perfect Tutorial!

I am a beginner at editing and this purchase was a must! The narrator patiently explains each feature and shows detailed examples of each. The Table of Contents is well designed, as it allows for easy reference during your project editing experience. Dont hesitate to download this tutorial. You wont regret it.

very good tutor videos

the videos are very simple and informative. i definetly would reccomend this to anyone new to final cut pro.

Great but wamt more!

I found the different videos short and sweet. I was able to better understand the different features of FCP because the videos were broken down into small segments. Would love to see an advanced FCP tutorial available as an add on to this one.

Worth every cent, even if you know FCPX

I already know FCPX and work with it often. So what could this teach me? I’m an Expert, right? Yeah, well…. As it turns out, quite a bit. There were features I hadn’t explored or didn’t “bother with,” and these movies showed me what I was missing. Yeah, ok, some of it is really basic. But even if you think you already know FCPX, it’s worth the $6.99 to get caught up on some of the extras – or even just to review stuff and keep it in memory. Need to teach others? This is great review material, on which you could build lessons. If you’re a total newbie, or just getting into FCPX, these videos will be perfect. I’ve seen starter tutorials go for much, much more, and yet they contained essentially the same content you get with this app, so in my opinion, you can’t beat the price. I just wish the same tutor would do one on Motion – now there’s an app I need to learn more about.

Fantastic Lessons for Final Cut Pro!

What can I say? Easiest and fastest way to learn the basics of FCPX! Lesson is concise, clear and well structured. I have learned so much from Noteboom courses. Thank you so much!

Amazing

Best $9.99 I ever spent. I consider myself a pretty tech savy guy. I taught myself how to use Logic Pro but Final Cut Pro consistently stumped me. I bought the Apple Pro Training Series book from the Kindle store but found the program to be tedious and chatty. In contrast, I watched every video in this tutorial back to back in a single day. No filler. All useful content presented in a logical progression. I wish I had bought this app the day I bought Final Cut Pro. I feel like Neo when they loaded a jiu jitsu program directly to his brain - *opens eyes wide* I know Final Cut Pro.

Really good…But Needs an Update

I’ve been using FCP 6-7, etc for the past 10 years and have been putting off the transition to FCP 10 because it was a big learning curve. I took an afternoon and went thropugh all of these tutorials and now I know enough about the differences to start. While this is good stuff, I am found it a little confusing as it apears that some of the things talked about are no longer included on the version 10.2. I had to really search the help menu to see how to do things in other ways. For example. The project properties adjustments are verey verey different. there is no mote “i” for the inspector, it is now a slider icon, etc. Worth the money if you have the patience to figure out the upgrades not discussed in this version of the tutorial. If they re-did this as a 10.2, It would be awesome as 10.2 now has even more features like 3D.
